It all began with the founding of PUKY in 1949
in Düsseldorf: founders Heinz Kuchenbecker, Hermann
Schlessmann and Sebastian Neef created the idea
for a product that, in the post-war era of
reconstruction, became the epitome of playful
mobility for many children – the balloon scooter.
