High-end 2-component grip with optimum grip and excellent vibration damping. The soft surface with its fine profile ensures optimum grip and damping, while the harder core ensures a very secure fit on the handlebars. This means that even rougher sections can be mastered with confidence.
To give children good handling and therefore safety on a scooter, a stable handlebar at the right height is extremely important. And because kids are still growing, our handlebars simply grow with them over a wide adjustment range. This means they can always keep their eyes on the road and not on the front wheel!
Due to the long handlebars, control bearings are exposed to high loads, especially on scooters. We therefore also install a robust and durable ball bearing in our R 07 L. The wheels also have ball bearings for low rolling resistance and a long service life, even with high mileage.
Air tyres undoubtedly offer the best values in terms of grip and comfort. The voluminous 50x203mm tyres on this air scooter make the R 07 L a real street surfer. They provide a lot of safety and absorb impacts better than a foam tyre can. In contrast to these, however, a little more maintenance is required. The coloured sidewalls provide a cool look that also appeals to older kids.
The powerful V-brakes on the rear wheel enable fast riding manoeuvres and are stable even with somewhat heavier riders. Easy handling and maintenance also speak in favour of the brakes, which have long been tried and tested in the bicycle sector.

Measuring inner leg length in three steps
But how can you measure your child's inner leg length? Quite simply:
- Your child stands with its back against a wall wearing shoes.
- Clamp a book between its legs with the horizontal upper edge at the crotch.
- Now you can measure the distance from the top edge of the book to the floor with a tape measure or folding rule.
The measured value in centimetres is the inner leg length or crotch height. You can now use it to determine the right size for your child's balance bike or bicycle on our website.
