Adjustment, repair, maintenance
Check before each use. Inspect product and vehicle at regular intervals for wear and tightness of screws. Please check the wear of the brake element regularly and replace the brake element if necessary. Check for foreign objects, e.g. stones, dust, dirt deposits on the braking element etc. and remove the foreign objects - clean the braking element and the guide rods. Only use a slightly damp cloth to clean the unit. Never immerse the unit completely in water or use a water jet to clean it. Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents, as these will damage the unit. In case of damage, please contact us and DO NOT attempt to repair it yourself. Please ensure that the function of mySTOPY is not impaired by other objects - e.g. mudguards.
